Yamaha RD56
The Yamaha RD56 was a 250cc stroke Grad Prix Racing motorcycle. It produced 47 bhp at 11,000 rpm. What a screamer!!! It featured a seven speed gearbox.
The RD56 was ridden by Tony Godfrey, Hiroshi Hasegawa, Fumio Ito, and Yoshikazu Sunako during the 1963 Grand Prix Season. In 1964 Phil Read became the Grand Prix World Champion aboard the RD56.
